Marianne VanWingerden

For as long as I can remember I have loved beauty, nature, and color. My father always pointed out the beauty in everything, the sunset, a stormy sea, and all things botanical. From a young age I can remember drawing and having a strong desire to do it well. Over the years I have enjoyed art, learning, trying, and experimenting with many mediums. I love the variety because therein lies the fun and newness of discovery. I still greatly love God’s nature and colors and draw many of my inspirations from them. My desire is to create that I may honor my Creator and emulate His genius with just the tiniest shard of reflection in hoping to reflect His glory. The sale of my art is given to charities. Two of my favorites are Honduras Fountain of Life and Knickers for New Life.
